Where's Sam Cobra?

Howdy Ranch Hands! Welcome to the Circle X Ranch 2005 Traveling Figure project. The rules are downright simple:

1. Sam Cobra is on the run after stealing Noah and Terri Coop's horses and selling them to buy guns from The Armory.

2. He will travel from Ranch Hand to Ranch Hand, but no schedule will be announced. If you've signed up as a host, Sam could show up on your doorstep at any time. To participate, you must be a member of the Circle X Ranch Yahoo! group.

3. Sam is looking for a hideout and something to steal. Keep this in mind when planning his adventures. Add something to his weapons cache, his disguise, or just something to help him out on his run from hideout to hideout. Plan on keeping him about a week. Keep it rated PG folks! Even an outlaw like Sam knows that children like to take a look at the pictures on the Ranch.

4. Take plenty of pictures! You can either e-mail the pics to me at thetoylawyer@yahoo.com [no more than 3 - 4 per e-mail] or give me a holler and I'll give you our mailing address for the disc or CD. Please, save in low resolution format, no more than 50K, if possible. Write a caption to every photo [you can e-mail the captions to me in a text file]. I can't guarantee we'll use every picture, but the more I have to pick from, the better!

5. If you have a video camera, feel free to record Sam as he rampages through your house. Clearly mark the tape or DVD with the format and toss it in the box. The next person that has the same kind of camera can add to it.

6. When you receive Sam, tell the Ranch about it! Creativity counts! It could be a ransom note, a police report or anything else you can think up!

7. HOWEVER, do not tell where you are sending Sam next. You can drop a little hint, such as "The last time I saw him, he was riding north . . ." But that's it! Please follow the instructions with the figure regarding how to send him on to his next stop.

8. At the end, the Ranch will vote on the best adventure as shown by the photos, captions and story. The winner receives Sam, all the gear he's collected along the way, and anything else that might be added.
